I realize that I do not speak with a Texas drawl; however, I have tried to refine my speech (particularly my pronunciation of the word 'Minnesota") to be a little less Midwestern. Then, I make a comment to the realtor about the "pond" in our new front yard and she laughs and says - "Where are you from? We call those tanks." Oh well.....
